Abstract
|
|
|
The purposes of this study are to find the present situation of the elderly sport in accordance with the senior facilitating industry, and to evaluate the possibility and promoting strategies for the market. To meet the purposes of this study, the researcher examined the senior sports participating situation and analysed the economic value of the elderly sports market in accordance with the senior facilitating industry in three aspects such as ’the economic value of senior sports’, ’the growth possibility of the senior facilitating industry, and ’the appearance of the new-silver as the consumer class. The specific results of this study are as follows:
first, raising the sports participating rate of the elderly, second, development and supply the diverse program, third, expanding the governmental support for the senior sport,
fourth, introduction of the favorable treatment for the senior sport, fifth, training and arrangement of the senior sport professionals, sixth, public relation and reinforcement of the senior sport participation, and seventh, utilization of the value-added service of the U-City. The elderly sport as the senior facilitating industry will contribute to the welfare for the elderly as well as the economic value for the sport industry.
